Bike Rental Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: From the time of reservation

This Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all bike rental reservations made with Concept 53.eleven S.L., a company registered in Spain (CIF: B56501547), hereinafter referred to as “53.eleven,” “we,” or “us.” By making a reservation, the customer (“you” or “the customer”) agrees to the terms outlined below.

1. Cancellation Terms

• 14 days or more prior to the scheduled rental date: Cancellations received at least 14 calendar days in advance are eligible for a full refund of the rental amount paid.
• Between 13 and 4 days prior: Cancellations made within this window are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. The remaining 50% of the paid rental amount will be refunded.
• Within 3 days (72 hours) of the scheduled rental date: No refund will be issued for cancellations received less than 72 hours prior to the rental start time.

2. Modification Policy

• Reservation date changes are permitted free of charge if requested at least 7 calendar days prior to the original rental start date, and subject to bike availability.
• Modification requests made within 7 days of the scheduled rental date may be treated as a cancellation, depending on availability and circumstances.

3. No-Show Policy

Failure to collect the reserved bicycle(s) on the scheduled date without prior written notice will be deemed a “no-show.” No-shows are non-refundable, and the reservation will be forfeited.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. 53.eleven is not responsible for delays caused by banking institutions or payment processors.

5. Weather Conditions

Rentals will proceed as scheduled regardless of weather conditions unless 53.eleven determines that conditions are unsafe. In such cases, customers may reschedule their booking subject to availability, but no refunds will be issued due to weather-related cancellations.

6. Emergency Circumstances

In the event of a bona fide emergency that prevents rental commencement, 53.eleven will consider the situation on a case-by-case basis. Proof of the emergency may be required. Decisions made under this clause are at the sole discretion of 53.eleven and are not subject to appeal.

7. Early Returns

If the rental equipment is returned prior to the scheduled end date, no refund or credit will be issued for the unused rental period. Rental fees are charged for the full reserved duration regardless of early return.

8. Reservation Extensions

Rental period extensions are possible upon request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply. Requests should be made as early as possible to avoid disruption or bike unavailability.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, with exclusive jurisdiction vested in the courts of the Comunidad Valenciana.
